**LEAD WELLBEING COORDINATOR**
**What is the job?**
A Lead Wellbeing Coordinator is essential to work every day to help all residents live a dignified and meaningful life. The job requires the highest of standards, bags of passion while always considering the resident’s choices, their views and respectingtheir independence. You must have previous Activities/ Wellbeing Coordinator experience ideally in a care home and happy to manage a small activities team.
**The Lead Wellbeing Coordinator role will include a number of tasks such as**:
- Supervising the Activities Coordinator and Assistant
- Organising Daily Activities and Outings
- Complete weekly and monthly timetables of activities
- Organise Special Arrangements for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Easter and Christmas.
- Negotiating with suppliers and ordering materials
- Buying tickets, booking transport
**What we are looking for in the role of a Lead Wellbeing Coordinator**:
Our clients expect and look for qualities of an individual’s character - areas like kindness, honesty, friendliness, passion, good communicator, both team player and a person with individual aptitude. Being able to think and make decisions under pressure,prioritise tasks, be positive when the chips are down and always keep a smile will all help secure your next job.
**About the Care setting**:
The home is homely, friendlyhouse situated in three acres of grounds, providing long term residential and dementia care for people aged 65 years and above.
