As social media manager you should have versatile skills that span from copywriting and funnel marketing to design and multimedia. You will be responsible for growing audiences on social platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn,and Instagram. Along with maintaining a posting schedule, you will create platform-specific content including text posts, videos, and graphics. You must have a good eye for trends and an understanding of social media metrics.

Working collaboratively with colleagues from content, CRO, UX, data and the wider marketing team you will:

- Develop a creative and engaging social media strategy
- Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
- Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Sprinklr and Hootsuite
- Create engaging multimedia content across multiple platforms
- Create editorial content for our website and app
- Update and monitor social media crisis plan
- Develop, launch, and manage new campaigns that promote our organisation and brand
- Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights
- Recommend improvements to increase performance
- Work closely with our inhouse PR specialist to align social media and PR strategies

**You'll need to have**:

- A degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience working in a focused social media role
- A solid understanding of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers
- Experience working in a CMS
- An understanding of funnel marketing
- Knowledge of content for each funnel stage
- Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for multiple social media platforms
- Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
- Strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to colleagues
- The ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Skills in data analysis and interpreting statistics
- Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimisation
