As the **Buyer,**you will ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price, correct quality, lead time and are delivered on-time for production.
- Managing and controlling company's external suppliers within business cell structure
- Develop relationships with current Suppliers and sub-contractors
- Process all sub-contract operations, ensuring swift turnaround of parts in line with business needs
- Ensure key relationships are built with internal and external stakeholders
- Implement personal savings and on-cost tracker
- Ensure the timely return of all defective material and ensure corrective actions are put in place to prevent reoccurrence
- Assist with NSQ process, including TAT, transparency and MRP system updates
- Drive improvements in Supplier On-Time Delivery with key accounts
- Continually improve Purchasing methods ad drive down external spend

To be successful in this role of **Buyer** we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

- CIPS Qualification
- 3 - 5 years within' a manufacturing / MRP driven environment, preferably in a regulated industry such as Aerospace, Defence, Automotive or Medical devices
- Broad knowledge of bespoke manufactured parts such as Machined / Turned parts, castings, forgings, electronics including purchasing of PCB assemblies
- Must be able to read technical drawings
