**Senior Social Media Manager**

**Summary**:
The Social Media manager works closely with the Head of Social media to create engaging content for our client social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connectingwith audiences.

You will to the Head of Social with a line into the Digital Director and work with our clients social media apprentice to build industry leading social media campaigns.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manages our clients social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
- Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
- Creating & producing engaging social media content
- Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation
- Assists social media management with large projects, events, and community management
- Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns across our clients that deliver for internal stakeholders, members and sponsors
- Data management and analysis
- Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
- Management of existing social media platforms and exploration of new ones
- Uses scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary
- Produces a weekly and Monthly reports into the effectiveness of social media for management
- Lead on the production of social media video content
- Lead on social media projects representing the team
- Working with colleagues in the sponsorship and events team to ensure social media is a core enabler of the our clients value proposition.

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- Knowledge of the social media landscape and appropriate ways of measuring delivery
- Video production skills
- Good organisational and team working skills
- Excellent creative writing skills
- Good all-round communicator
- Sound judgement
- Ability to work under pressure/meet tight deadlines
- Ability to be flexible/ think laterally in problem solving
