We're looking to appoint a new IT Senior Buyer to add to our already growing Team on a 12-18 month contract.

An exciting position to help support the delivery of agreed category plans through the execution of strategic sourcing projects to meet business stakeholder needs, maximizing value for Urenco.

**Key duties and responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Support the commercial activities on nominated IT Projects and/or Programmes. Act as focal point within procurement for the IT Projects and IT Programmes.
- Manage the early engagement with stakeholders to ensure effective Demand Management, and that the business requirements are understood.
- Creation and implementation of Sourcing Plans in line with the appropriate Category Strategies.
- Develop and implement negotiation plans ensuring that appropriate contracting methods and contractual relationships with suppliers are employed for all spend across IT Projects / IT Programme.
- Responsible for the expansion of the contract register and on-going Contract Management of all contracts on IT Category.

**Job Requirements include**:

- Proven experience as a Procurement professional with experience of Category management in IT.
- Degree or working towards CIPS is preferred.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in managing contract negotiations.
- Eligible to gain Security Clearance.

Although based in Stoke Poges, hybrid working will also be available.
