A leading online retailer based in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to play a key role working with the Head of Merchandising to deliver sales, maximise profit and manage stock intake.
**The company**
An online retailer business in West Yorkshire with a growing online presence, selling directly to consumer through their own website. They are a small team with a fairly flat structure so you will have an opportunity to drive change and make a differencewithin the team. They are a close knit team in an accessible location with good transport links and offer a mix of home & office working.
**The role**
- Working with Buying, ensuring the range plan deliver sales and margin whilst in line with stock targets
- Control stock levels based on weekly sales and stock intakes (WSSI)
- Planning of budgets by category, option count, and depth of buy
- Recommend promotions and re buys as necessary
- Analyses and monitors best and worst sellers and makes informed recommendations for action
- Review weekly trading performance and achieved KPI’s
- Manage the range plan in Season reflecting any changes
- Train and support junior members of the team
- Clearance and Markdown plans in conjunction with buying.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will need to be operating at Merchandiser level already within a retailer and ideally you will have experience working for an online business. You’ll be an experienced Merchandiser with WSSI management experience and youwill be able to communicate effectively with other team members in the business.
