As a Key Account Manager in Ophthalmology working within the regions of Devon, Cornwall and Dorset you will drive sales performance, market share and develop effective professional business relationships with customers, and build and execute business plansfor your assigned territory (South West).

The role is working a 6 Month Contract (Hybrid) paying £396 per day, inside IR35.

Responsibilities include:

- Execute account plans for assigned product lines/brands, customers or therapeutic area; and develop new business opportunities.
- Make effective use of available technologies and channels to support sales calls.
- Ensure that company products and supporting services are broadly understood and available to more patients and customers.
- Deploy and uses Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programs; coordinate direct promotion programs and facilitates pull-through activities.
- Uses detailed knowledge of competitor products features and benefits during sales calls to improve sales of company products.
- Integrate customer-facing activities in cross-functional teams (e.g. Medical Affairs, Market Access) to achieve sales targets.

What you'll bring to the role:

- Degree or equivalent.
- 5 years relevant experience within Pharma/Healthcare.
- Secondary care is a prerequisite.
- Ophthalmology experience would be an advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of NHS - structure, strategy and funding.
