Lead Mobile Developer

We are looking for a new Lead mobile app developer to build a new team within an already established software / hardware product based company. These app's you will be building will full under the IoT banner so if you enjoy this space this is a fantasticopportunity to get involved at ground zero.
Your objective in this role will be to build and lead a team of up to 5 developers and testers. We are looking for someone who can lead from the front and talk from experience so you will need to demon straight a great technical understanding of the mobiledevelopment arena.
Mobile apps are now going to be a core part of the company's future so the company needs to rapidly get this team off the ground to build Android and iOS apps for smartphones, tablets and wearables.
It is likely this team will mostly work remotely but the company has two bases in the south west in which you can meet up and get some face time with the rest of the business.
The hardware you will be interfacing with is all built in house along with the web and cloud based software, so you will have the chance to collaborate with these teams and use them in support.
Your first goal in this role will be to get under the bonnet of a handful of apps that have already been developed by third parties some of which will carry on being supported by yourself.
Once settled in the company will look to you for your vision of the future tech stack and strategy. You will have a product and architecture team also in support.
If you have the technical experience we are after but not the people management experience don't worry, the hiring manager for this position is more than happy to take this part of the role on initially and help you recruit and learn how to manage people. Justas long as you are able to lead them from a technical perspective.
This really is a great opportunity for either someone who would look at this is a huge step up and a chance to take on a challenge. Also it would perfectly fit someone who has already built mobile app teams in the past and is looking to do it again
