**Junior Credit Controller - Food Manufacturing**

**3-6Months Fixed Term Contract**

**The Person**:
We are looking to hire a Junior credit controller to help us manage the company debts. As a credit controller, you will be responsible for collecting debts, evaluating new credit requests, ensuring timely payments, processing invoices, and credit notes, maintaining the sales ledger, and providing administrative support. We are looking for a person with a good eye for details and the ability to reconcile complex company accounts.

**The Role Responsibilities**:

- Chase outstanding debt, ensuring debts are collected in a timely manner, contacting the customers directly
- Monitor aged debt report
- Perform cash allocation to accounts on a timely manner.
- Liaise with all parties to resolve disputes and queries to facilitate timely payment
- Prepare customers statements report
- Raise credit notes along with manage sign-offs and allocation
- Manage rebates
- Manage new customer set up, and customer credit limits
- Reconcile sales ledger with customer accounts
- Monitor deliveries v credit limits v stop list
- Respond to client inquiries

**Knowledge Requirements**
- 6 months previous Credit Control role ideally within an FMCG business.
- Strong attention to detail
- Methodical approach to work
- Client facing
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Committed and organised
