bagport UK Ltd are looking for permanent, full time Service Associates to join the Lost Property Office team at Heathrow Airport working a 40 hour week variable Monday through to Sunday.
Required to start asap
£11.05 per hour
Starting bonus of £200 with a further £300 on completion of six month probabionary period.
We operate between 6.45am - 7pm, 7 days per week. Shifts will be allocated on a rotating basis.
**Before you start**:
- You must be able to commit to being able to get to Heathrow for 6.45am starts and be able to get home safely if you are scheduled on a 7pm finish.
- You must have stamina for extensive periods of walking, standing, lifting, pulling and pushing
- You must be willing to undertake a criminal record check
- If you do not already have an airside pass, you must be able to provide references to cover your employment and whereabouts for the past 5 years.
- It is essential that you are not colourblind as you would be unable to use the essential equipment needed to fulfil this role.
- **The Role**:
- Walking around the airport to various stations to collect items of Lost Property and return them back to the office.
- Conduct investigative work to identify the items.
- Use a database to match the items with their owners.
- Preparation of documents to be retained by customer.
- Prepare and pack items to be shipped.
- Work to set targets
- Prepare reports and provide feedback on results
**The essentials**: **You must be physically fit and able as the role involves extensive periods of walking and heavy lifting ** Excellent written and verbal English skills a must

- Experience in a high-pressure Customer Service environment (preferably in an airport, call centre, service desk environment or similar)
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to quickly learn and operate internal databases and external systems after training.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with English Language and Mathematics (grade C or above)
The nice to have: Experience of handling and counting money
- Experience of using Tills
- Advanced IT skills
- Drivers licence
- Airside pass
