Our clients in York are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker for their Court Team.This is a full time assignment (Monday to Friday) for 6 months and is based mostly in York City centre, with some capacity for home working. You should be able totravel to York within an hour if required.Competitive rate of pay including weekly pay, holiday pay and pension with online timesheets.You must be eligible to work in the UKThis role in our client's Safeguarding Interventions Team involves work with childrento improve their outcomes by:

- Undertaking assessments as required - both within pre-proceedings and during the court process Safeguarding children Working closely with children, families and other professionals to progress children's plans Working in a supportivespecialist team Managing a caseload of children subject to proceedingsYou will: Have a Social Work Qualification: CQSW, Dip. SW, CSS or equivalent Be an experienced and capable social worker Be SWE registered Have strong communication and interpersonal skillsalong with an enthusiastic can do attitude and be able to prioritise your workload. Have good IT skills and preferably experience with MosaicWe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all WorkwithYorkstaff to share this commitment.
