We have a comprehensive understanding of this challenging but highly rewarding sector, this enable us to place the most suitable candidates with clients and find the best opportunities for candidates.We are advertising this fantastic opportunity onbehalf of a local authority in South Tyneside Council who are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to be part of the CiN&CP Team to work in an office-based role and as part of an experienced team.Job Requirements: Assessing and planning for childrenand families Ensuring that all the Policies and Procedures are being followed Monitoring and reviewing functions for children and families Providing advice, guidance and support whenever necessary Build and support relationships with children and young peopleInvestigation and assessment, following referrals to the service. Working With PLO (Public Law Outline) Attending Child Protection meetings, Case Conferences and LAC reviews. Utilise Children In Need plans to work directly with Children Court Reports Section47's Core Assessments Managing caseloadsCandidate Requirements: Degree in relevant professional or equivalent qualification e.g. Certificate of Qualification in Social Work or Diploma in Social Work. Previous experience of working in CiN/CP Team. Able to undertakehigh quality assessments, reviews and support plans for individuals.
