Our client is a global player in environmental and sustainability consulting with international clients in the built environment, financial, and energy industries. This company operates in a dynamic environment, and you would have the opportunity to assessand implement efficiencies and improvements to current reporting and control. Reporting to the EU Financial Director, this role carries the responsibility of creating regular and ad-hoc reporting for the business using the information provided by the regionsoutside Europe.
Vacancy located in central London and hybrid working offered.
**What will you be doing?**:
- Creating the monthly management accounts for the Europe operating business (which includes Chile and UK based head office functions). You would also be reporting to the Europe finance team.
- Produce and oversee a range of reports including weekly reporting, sales pipeline and cash flow forecasting.
- Preparing periodic and ad-hoc reports both from the finance system and on Excel. These will support business requirements and finance checks to ensure data is up to date and accurate.
- Overseeing the Assistant Accountant to ensure all transactions are correctly processed. Supporting them to gain additional experience and career development.
- The role is also outward facing to the wider business. This will involve numerous touch points with the leadership team and project managers to better help them understand business performance and manage finance activities.
**Your core skill set includes**:
- Relevant experience in a similar team or role
- Technical understanding of double entry bookkeeping, accounts preparation and typical month end process
- Strong Excel skills
- Hands on use of a finance system (input and reporting)
- Experience of coaching and developing a team
