**Charity People** are thrilled to be partnered with the National **Literacy Trust** in their search to find a **Corporate Partnership Manager**. A newly created role that will focus on managing and developing an exciting range of high-value partnerships.
**About The National Literacy Trust**
One person in six has poor literacy skills that impact on every area of their life.The National Literacy Trust gives children and young people from disadvantaged communities the literacy skills to succeed in life. Working with schools and other education settings,with communities and partners, and directly with children and families.
Research shows that during the initial school closures in 2020, 3 in 5 children and young people said that reading made them feel better. 3 in 10 said that reading helped them when they feel sad because they cannot see their family and friends.

**About the role**
The National Literacy Trust are rapidly growing, with ambitious plans and amazing staff. This is an exciting time to join a dynamic and fast-paced corporate partnerships team as new partners come on board to support the charity's vital work. This is a key rolethat sits within the development department where you will be working in a small but highly successful team focusing on high profile corporate and brand partnerships.
The National Literacy Trust are working with a range of innovative high-profile brands including fashion brand Burberry, who have partnered with English international footballer and youth advocate, Marcus Rashford MBE, to help organisations enhance libraryexperiences for children and young people from disadvantaged communities. Other partners include Siemens, JP Morgan, Pan MacMillan, WHSmith's and The Premier League.
You will take on the responsibility of managing a range of partnerships providing high level stewardship to grow and develop these relationships. Work closely with programme delivery leads and the senior management team plus play a key role in supporting otherteam members.
**About you**
You will be an experienced corporate partnerships manager with a strong emphasis on stewarding and developing high value corporate partnerships - those worth at least £80k to £100k per year. Ideally this should be within the charity sector.
Alongside this you will have good financial management, planning and strategy development skills. Experience of generating income for education projects would be an advantage but not essential.
We are looking for a confident partnerships manager with excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills. Someone who is truly motivated by the cause and who wants to take their corporate fundraising to the next level.
