**Salary**: up to £21,630 + up to 20% profit share scheme
We are proud to be supporting our client, a family-run business with its roots firmly in the Northeast.
Working within the Head Office and Central Support Centre you will manage new requests within regional areas, providing a high-level customer service, whilst developing and maintaining relationships with customers to meet and exceed personal and company targets.
The business is over 50 years old and now employ over 500 people across a UK wide Depot network. The business delivers plant, site accommodation, welfare facilities, portable toilets, and solar product hire needs to a wide range of customers and has an exceptional reputation for delivering service and quality.
The business is passionate about their people, hiring skilled, experienced & knowledgeable people who know take the time to get to know the local area and customers. Training and development are important to ensure that everyone is up to date with current requirements and legislation. Retention is high across the business, which is testament to the culture within the business, many members of the team having achieved over 40 years’ service.
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring that all enquiries from all avenues are responded to in a timely manner.
- Offering customers an efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous service, to ensure their requirements are identified, that the Company has product available to meet those needs within the timescale
- Ensure customers are followed up with, to ensure successful delivery and obtain any feedback regarding equipment and service.
- Ensuring product knowledge is maintained at an adequate level to identify customer requirements including researching new equipment. Requesting any necessary training in product awareness and participating in any organised training programmes.
- Liaising with Depot Staff, Transport teams and Fulfilment team to ensure availability of all equipment to meet hire commitments, Ensuring all requirements are detailed in the system to enable all instructions are communicated to all required personnel involved in delivering a transaction.
- Assisting with credit control measures to obtain money from customers such as prompt handling of queries, arranging uplift from site etc.
- Communicating and overseeing all transactions for the customer to ensure customer service is maintained and that we are always providing the highest standards and quality.
- Liaising with all personnel involved in the delivery of a transaction and ensuring that the system is updated with all required information to ensure clear communication.
Skills & experience required:
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written with both internal and external stakeholders
- Enjoy learning and continuous development of product knowledge to enhance customer experience
- Demonstrate organisational and planning skills to manage workload effectively
- Competent IT skills and ability to learn new systems confidently
- Experience of handling customer accounts with Service Level Agreements
- A flexible approach to change and drive to continuously improve
- Enjoy working as part of a Team in fast paced volume environment
