Company profile - Investment Management Fund
In this Investment Analyst graduate job, you will be joining an alternative investment management firm focused on originating, distributing and managing real asset investment funds for institutional investors. Our areas of focus include renewable and alternative energy, water and waste treatment, environmental and agricultural assets.
An international fund, they have offices in London, Hong Kong and Australia. In spite of an international presence, they are still a small, lean team. So you must be comfortable working autonomously and proactively in a small team.
Job description - Investment Analyst
In this Investment Analyst job in London, you will work across different areas of the team from asset management and optimisation, valuation work, research and audit. You will be both analytical and people-facing as you will also communicate with the internationaloffices too.
Key responsibilities - Investment Analyst
In this Investment Analyst job in London, your responsibilities will include:

- Asset management and optimisation - working with the team on the day-to-day management of existing assets, as well as on bespoke projects regarding the optimisation of assets (e.g. repowering of wind farm assets)
- General research projects - carry out qualitative and quantitative research on new areas of focus, such as investment opportunities in the circular economy. Present research to the team
- Quarterly investor reporting - work with the team on the collection of data for the quarterly investor reports for each of the funds. Field any investor queries on the reports (supported by senior investment team)
- Annual audit reporting - assist with the audit process for each of the investment companies and the various fund vehicles. This includes carrying out valuations for each of the investments
- Investment analysis and valuation work - work with the team on the analysis of new investment opportunities, including carrying out valuation work
Job requirements - Investment Analyst
- A proactive mindset, with a real 'get up and go' attitude
- Strong numerical ability
- Advanced excel skills
- Interest in the fields of renewable energy, sustainability and the circular economy
