**Department: Transport**
**Location: West Thurrock**
**Manager: Transport Manager**
- **Job Purpose**_
To provide administrative support to the transport operations in accordance with company procedures and regulatory consents
To achieve agreed administrative and operational objectives.
- **Tasks**_
2. Dealing with Customers via phone and our inhouse case system which includes processing customer service requests, booking additional services, hazardous waste notes / consignment notes and quoting prices for our waste management services
3. Setting up new customers which includes completion of contracts, sending duty of care and ensuring service days are set up on our inhouse system
4. Work to company’s Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety policies for all operational and administrative activities.
5. Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, and other Group / Business staff as necessary.
6. Assist in the investigation and identification of future commercial potential of the business.
7. Work closely with the Operations Manager and Transport Manager for advice and guidance regarding operational matters.
- **Key Skills**_
Excellent customer service skills, ideally gained in a telephone environment
Team player and open communicator
Systematic approach to problem solving
Proficient with MS Office
Good oral, literacy, and numerical skills
An ability to have good attention to detail and accuracy
Works well under pressure
- **Experience Required**_
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an Customer Service role
Experience in the waste management industry
Work remotely
