OPERATIVE - within the Radiator Assembly department

Shift 14:00-22:00 Hours (38 hours/week)

**Reporting To**:
ASSEMBLY

MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Responsible for/Duties (full training will be given):

- Working in a fast-paced manual environment, lifting heavy equipment (with lifting equipment; hoists & chains) the role is to assemble various sized radiators of bolted construction, to Bearward procedures and specifications in accordance with Company standards, specifically;
- Assembling parts using air and battery powered tools, spanners, some use of platforms
- Processing product through different assembly stages
- Pressure testing with airlines
- Palletising product using pump trucks
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
- To fully implement the concept of lean and 5S manufacturing
- PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls, bump caps, gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant)

Practical, hands on person

Manufacturing background desirable but not essential
