Days based role

Excellent opportunity to join a successful manufacturing organisation as a Quality Engineer.

As the Quality Engineer, you will:

- Ensure customer relationships by effective management of non - conformance, complaint and rectification
- Support new product introduction core tool implementation and optimisation
- Ensure and drive the implementation and adherence of quality standards
- Lead improvement projects
- Support new project and engineering changes
- Lead customer driven activities and complaint resolution
- Industrialisation plant quality lead (APQP)
- Actively participate in QRQC & practical problem solving (8D)
- Identify & lead improvement projects focused on quality, cost and delivery
- Undertake Non-conformance, product review and implement improvement
- Run production trials, produce reports and results
- Ensure CSR maintenance
- Crate and maintain quality standards, SOP's and documentation
- Provide training to production team members in relation to new products and quality standards
- Manage control of documents, deviation and change control
- Conduct product audits

As the Quality Engineer, you will:

- Be a proactive quality professional who is consistently looking for where they can make improvements
- Be Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent
- Have previous experience in quality engineering within manufacturing
- Have a proven background in managing and implementing change and improvements
- Be self-motivated and driven with the desire to self-develop and progress
- Have working knowledge of APQP tools and 8D problem solving
- Be fully conversant ISO9001and ideally IATF16949
- Be a confident trainer and mentor
- Have managed successful projects independently
- Be a strong influencer able to change mind sets and promote the benefits of improvement at all levels
