Transport / Haulage Administrator

BDS are recruiting for a haulage/transport administrator based in Allerton,
Working full time you will be responsible for managing and coordinating deliveries to the site via the sites weighbridge.
The role is key in maintaining an accurate tonnage record for contract and government purposes.
**Responsibilities**
- Operation of site weighbridges
- Assist Commercial team in accurate recording of all inbound and outbound transactions for reporting purposes
- Maintain document control systems and general version control of relevant correspondence
- Record and maintain all weighbridge transactions
- Supplier/ haulier/ vehicle setup in weighbridge systems
- Managing tonnage information and statistics
- Quality control (adhering to Waste Acceptance Procedure) on incoming waste transfer notes, waste carrier licence, quarantine vehicles and emergency situations
- Co-ordinating tipping with Tipping Hall staff
- Accurate completion of required site paperwork
- Developing the role to add value to the business
- Conducting site inductions for new drivers
- Able to react swiftly and efficiently when problems occur on site
- Excel and MS Office skills
- First class, accurate administration skills including database and systems manipulation
- Interpersonal skills at all levels
- Extremely good organisational and planning skills with ability to problem solve and prioritise workload with minimum direction or supervision
The position is a full time permanent position
Working shift patters, 07.30 - 15.30 / 13.30 - 21.00 (TBC)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £26,700.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
