Our clients are spread across the healthcare, biopharma, assisted living, food service and facilities management sectors.- We have a rare and exceptional opportunity for an experienced SaaS sector sales leader to join us as our VP of Sales, covering all global territories outside North America. Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer, the role will be responsible for the leadership and development of our sales teams (currently 3 Enterprise Account Executives and 3 SDRs), and for overall delivery of our annual recurring revenue targets for the territory, working with large Enterprise customers across our target vertical markets. The predominant focus of the role will be elevating and developing your team to achieve their sales quotas. While you won’t carry a quota of your own, you will be closely involved with critical negotiations alongside members of your team.- We are looking for an experienced, visionary and target-driven sales leader with a demonstrable history of success leading teams to deliver substantial ARR by selling SaaS and/or IoT products into large enterprise level customers. You’ll have a deep understanding of the enterprise sales cycle in the software sector, and will be able to deliver our “land and expand” strategy to close and grow accounts in the £100k-600k range. You’ll be an energetic new business developer with the ability and drive to carry your own personal sales target as well as managing and developing your team to achieve theirs. Naturally you will be a strong communicator, able to sell credibly and professionally at C-suite level in large enterprise organisations, and an inspirational leader of people able to elevate your team to the next level of performance.What you'll be doing
- Leading all sales activity and sales revenue generation on a global basis, except for North America.
- Delivering against Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets for both new business sales and existing client account growth, predominantly through new business growth with Enterprise level customers using a “land and expand” strategic approach.
- Leading, line managing, developing, coaching and mentoring the rest-of-world sales team, driving on target or over target performance, whilst ensuring the team is fully staffed, motivated, developing and engaged.
- Ensuring the Sales team are resourced, coached and equipped to implement and deliver against the key sales elements of the strategy. Removing obstacles from their way and creating an environment where they are given the best possible opportunity to succeed.
- Supporting the Sales team to close opportunities by getting directly involved in client negotiations where required.
- Working closely with the CRO, CEO, VP of GTM, Head of Demand Generation and the Sales team, developing and executing strategies for Go-To-Market, including customer identification, engagement, deal strategy and conversion.

What we're looking for
- Substantial experience in sales and sales leadership roles within the SaaS and/or IoT sectors. Experience of both physical products and software would be an ideal mix.
- A track record of successfully selling to Enterprise level customers is key, with the capability to negotiate effectively with large customers across our target verticals.
- Proven experience of delivering on or above target sales / ARR growth through the growth and development of successful sales teams.
- Well-developed people leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, coach, develop and mentor a young and upcoming sales team, delivering strong commercial results whilst maintaining engagement. Able to take the team on the journey with you.
- Familiar with using the MEDDIC style of selling, with the ability to coach others in this approach.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and evolve long-term sales strategy.
- Delivery focused with the ability to effectively execute against the strategic plan.
- Comfortable using data analysis to support the achievement of metrics and KPIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with a warm, personable and engaging style.
- Able to cut through the noise, removing obstacles for your teams and giving them the best possible platform to succeed.
- Strong IT skills, able to get up to speed easily with new systems and tools. Previous experience of using SalesForce would be advantageous.
- Highly collaborative in approach, used to working cross-functionally to achieve results.
- Energetic, positive, goal focused and driven, highly motivated to succeed.
- Resourceful and curious.
