A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias) to join a leading construction product manufacturer located near to the Bath area. The company's consistent innovation allows them to be an industry leader within their niche market.They specialise in a range of architectural glass, partitioning systems, fire-rated products and doors.
Due to continuous growth they require a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The main purpose for the position is preventative maintenance on machines and equipment, responding to emergency machine break downs. Involvement with new design, installation,and movements of existing machines. Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment ensuring machines and equipment on site are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose.
**Maintenance EngineerPosition Overview**
- Organising installation of new machines and equipment.
- Overhaul and upkeep and repair of all plant machines including.
- CNC / PLC equipment & Powder Coating process equipment.
- Fault Finding, testing, and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings fixtures and parts.
- Maintaining effective communication - keeping management and relevant parties aware and seeking advice and assistance when required.
- Any other duty as may be required with the grading of the post and the skill of the post holder.
- Shift Rotating: Week 1: 5:45am - 1:45pm Monday to Friday / Week 2: 1:30pm - 9:30pm Monday to Friday
**Maintenance EngineerPosition Requirements**
- Qualified and experienced Maintenance engineers with a good knowledge of factory operations
- Strong Mechanical skills and knowledge with basic electrical skills
- Good organisational and planning skills are required
- Good knowledge of PLC systems
