The Role:

The newly created Sponsorship Manager at the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) will become a pivotal role responsible for increasing ongoing commercial success through the management and delivery of sponsorship activities. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this role involves overseeing a portfolio of commercial activities, including webinars, briefings, and social media promotions for various external partners and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieving an annual sponsorship target of £100,000
  2. Facilitating stakeholder engagement
  3. Providing operational support for the FindanEngineer platform
  4. Managing both online and in-person sponsored events
  5. Strong collaboration with internal teams
  6. Identifying new business prospects
  7. Maintaining robust relationships with sponsors and partners

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-driven professional with excellent organisational and communication skills. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and the chance to make a significant impact in the structural engineering field.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  2. Strong organisational and administrative skills
  3. Business development or account management skills
  4. Adaptability and problem-solving skills

Experience working in sponsorship and partnerships would be advantageous.
