What does an Underwriting Administrator here do?
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
- Assist with client mailing campaigns (letters, marketing, client databases etc).
- General day to day running of our PFP products.
- Open and distribute incoming post to relevant teams and action where necessary.
- Respond to broker queries via telephone and e-mail.
- Maintain accurate record keeping on various CRM systems and online portal.
- Receive incoming calls and handle client queries.
- Produce daily updates on service KPI's within the team and report to the Team Leader.
- Build strong relationships with our internal stakeholders.
What are we looking for in our next Underwriting Administrator?
This is an opportunity for an experienced administrator, ideally with experience from the insurance market and knowledge of insurance products and services. You will be computer literate and have experience of using both Microsoft Word and Excel. We are looking for someone who:
- Has the ability to prioritise your workload from your own initiative.
- Is a highly effective communicator.
- Has strong attention to detail.
