Position Overview
The Data Centre & Cloud Manager is responsible for monitoring and managing the smooth delivery and operations of all vendors and services provided by the Data Centre & Cloud team. This role involves overseeing the deployment and maintenance of new infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance, and optimising performance and cost-efficiency.
This is a management level position that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a team and processes effectively.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Monitor and manage the smooth delivery and operations of all vendors and services provided by the Data Centre & Cloud team.
- Act as the leadership and point of escalation for the Data Centre & Cloud team.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of data centre and cloud infrastructure, ensuring it meets business needs.
- Ensure the security and compliance of data centre and cloud services, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Optimise the performance and cost-efficiency of data centre and cloud services.
- Improve the reliability and resiliency of data centre and cloud services, reducing the number of incidents.
- Foster improved vendor relations, ensuring effective collaboration and service delivery.
- Manage cloud environments, ensuring they are secure, compliant, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate with IT Leadership and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for data centre and cloud initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in data centre and cloud.

- Minimum of 7 years hands-on technical experience.

- Experience in the construction materials / industrial manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience in a federated matrix model.
