We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our office operations, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong computer skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth functioning of our office environment.
Responsibilities
- Answering phones, handling correspondence, and managing emails.
- Acting as a point of contact for customers, clients or suppliers via email or over the phone.
- Organising and maintaining files both physical and digital, and ensuring accurate records.
- Ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, and assisting with various other tasks as needed.
- Welcoming visitors to the building and showing them to meetings.
- Support team members with administrative tasks as needed to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in computerised office applications including Word, Excel, etc.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in an administrative role or similar position is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Prior experience with Sage (Preferably, non essentials full training will be given).
