You will play a vital role in the growth of their heavy civil engineering business. You will get the exciting opportunity to work on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure and the chance to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. They specialise in all aspects of heavy civil engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Water. They continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

To be suitable for the role you will:

  • Be a Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer.
  • Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Sound knowledge in design and analysis of heavy concrete and steel structures.
  • Proficiency in designing with appropriate structural analysis packages.
  • Ideally you will have experience in the nuclear sector.

Role: Principal Civil Structures Engineer

Locations Considered: Manchester, North West

Salary: Up to £68K + Benefits including Bonus, Flexi leave, car allowance, Significant pension & much more.
