As a specialist function within Pantheon, the Associate of Operational Due Diligence will be working with the team that is responsible for coordinating, managing and executing the General Partner (GP) Operational Due Diligence for Pantheon's underlying investment portfolio across all asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete the assessment and monitoring of GP Operational Risk.
  • Conduct desk-based reviews to assess the following key areas:
  1. Expectation & Requirements of Clients and Prospects
  2. GP Experience, content (types of questions), process (desk/call/visit) and Benchmark against peer firms
  3. Use in Investment Decision Making (inc. Primary/Secondary/Co-Inv) and ratings
  4. Requirements for information from other areas (Valuation, ESG, Ops etc)
  5. Monitoring Requirements
  6. Advance the established process based on feedback and findings of the reviews
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience of completing Operational Due Diligence on asset managers. Private Assets experience welcome but not essential.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the risks facing asset managers including Cybersecurity, ESG, Valuation, Legal & Regulatory and Operating risks.
  • Ability to work with Investment Teams and Asset Managers without close supervision.
