Join Amazon Australia's dynamic Marketplace Growth team and shape the future of online shopping We're seeking a detail-oriented Deals Operations Specialist to support our third-party selling partners in leveraging promotional opportunities.

As a Deals Specialist in our Seller Success team, you'll play a crucial role in creating and managing deals, educating selling partners, and providing outstanding support to ensure the success of our promotional programs. This dynamic position offers you the opportunity to work closely with Account Managers, Product Managers, and Selling Partners to optimize deal creation and resolve issues efficiently.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Create deals based on Account Manager and Product Manager specifications, utilizing provided tools and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  2. Educate Selling Partners and Account Managers on deals and how to participate in daily promotions and promotional events.
  3. Provide exceptional support to the third-party marketplace team (3P) and Selling Partners, guiding them through issue resolution related to deals while adhering to SOPs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  4. Troubleshoot issues and support Selling Partners, Product Managers, and Account Managers in creating deals.
  5. Execute mass communications based on provided SOPs, including translating content and using designated mass communication tools.
  6. Perform daily Quality Control of deals according to SOPs, solving or escalating issues as appropriate.
  7. Liaise with Account Managers and Program Managers to resolve Seller issues and questions.
A day in the life

Your typical day might involve:

  1. Creating and reviewing deals in Amazon's internal systems
  2. Conducting training sessions for Selling Partners on deal participation
  3. Responding to and resolving deal-related inquiries from Selling Partners and Account Managers
  4. Performing quality checks on active deals to ensure compliance with Amazon's guidelines
  5. Preparing and sending mass communications to Selling Partners about upcoming promotional opportunities
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex deal issues
  7. Analyzing deal performance data to identify areas for improvement

Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  2. Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  3. 2+ years of experience in marketing or e-commerce
  4. Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management
  5. Experience in process improvement initiatives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 2+ years of program or project management experience
  2. Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
  3. Experience in MS Access and SQL
  4. Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents
