We’re looking for a Data Specialist to join our Shared Applications and Services Data team and help us make smarter, evidence-based decisions.This is a role where you’ll collaborate widely across the business, influence strategic and operational change, and become an expert in Redgate’s data flows. You’ll help us unlock insights, improve data quality, and empower teams to use data confidently in their day-to-day work.Your Work at Redgate Software:Supporting projects and initiatives with analytical thinking and clear insightHelping leadership teams measure and track KPIs and OKRsResearching and proposing solutions to business problems using strong data analysisPartnering with stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and beyond to understand challenges and show how data can solve themEvangelising data solutions and guiding colleagues on how to use them effectivelyCreating dashboards, reports, and analysis to support business processes and decision-makingWorking with data sources such as Salesforce, Marketo, Zuora, Halo, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and product usage dataIdentifying and addressing data quality issues in collaboration with Data EngineersWhat You Bring to the Table: Are passionate about turning data into insight and helping others achieve their goalsHave strong commercial awareness of sales, marketing, and product functionsBring exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skillsAre a Power BI professional, confident in semantic models and reporting solutionsHave excellent SQL skills and advanced Excel experienceAre experienced with BI tools, data modelling, and dashboard/report creationCommunicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleaguesAre self-motivated, solution-oriented, and comfortable working independently or in a teamIt’s a bonus if you also have:A degree in a numerate or scientific disciplineExperience in e-commerce, web analytics, or funnel analysisMicrosoft Power BI Data Analyst certificationExperience with Salesforce or statistical analysis (e.g. R)Background in the software industryWhat we offer:At Redgate, you’ll join a supportive, collaborative environment where data is valued and your work makes a real impact.
