With a strong focus on trial work, knowledge exchange, and supporting UK growers, they offer a collaborative and hands on environment where you can develop your technical and field based expertise.What You Will Be DoingAs a Crop Production Technician/Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting a range of field and on farm trials across the East of England. Your responsibilities will include:Setting up, monitoring, and assessing on farm and strip trialsAssisting with tractor and harvester operations when requiredConducting crop phenotyping using handheld and drone based methodsCarrying out greenhouse gas measurements and helping develop protocolsCompleting soil health assessments and coordinating sample testingPreparing trial data for analysis and supporting trial report collationMaintaining field and research equipment, ensuring SOPs are up to dateWorking closely with research, crop production, and field teams to deliver high quality assessments and dataThis role involves regular travel and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.What You NeedA strong understanding of UK agricultureFull UK driving licenceGood IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeStrong communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilitiesHigh attention to detailAbility to work independently as well as part of a wider teamWillingness to undertake physical, hands-on xwwtmva work in the fieldDesirable:A degree in a relevant scientific disciplineExperience operating farm machinery, particularly with precision guidance systemsWhat Is In It for YouComprehensive training and professional developmentCompetitive pension schemePrivate healthcareEmployee assistance programmeRetail discounts and employee benefitsThe opportunity to join a friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking organisation making a real impact in UK crop production
