**Input Specialist**

Our client, a leading procurement company based on the outskirts of Norwich, are currently seeking Input Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours a week with a salary paying up to £30,000 per annum

As the Input Specialist, you will be under the supervision of procurement managers, the role will require working to negotiate prices and secure orders for the three product areas as directed and agreed both for external customers and internal subsidiaries.

Supporting the crop protection, fertiliser and seed business trading desks to ensure accurate and timely service from order placing to order invoicing working with Members and suppliers.

Where procurement managers are engaged elsewhere, you will be confident to provide sufficient cover and service as necessary to fulfil member and supplier enquiries or queries.

The role is predominantly office based although there will be scope for external visits to Members, suppliers and relevant industry events.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Customer focussed
- Track record of high level of accurate administration
- Competent negotiation skills
- Ability to evaluate and compare data accurately
- Demonstrable ability to identify and make process improvements
- Able to interact at appropriate level with customers, suppliers and team members
- Knowledge of the crop protection, fertiliser, and seed markets desirable but not essential
