Position - Enterprise Partner Sales Hunter – New Business(Data Analytics/AI/EPM)The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Location - UK (preferably London / South-East; open to other major UK hubs)Experience - 5-15 YearsProfile Summary:Polestar Analytics is looking for a UK-based Sales Hunter to drive net new business for Data + AI Analytics solutions, with a strong focus on the Microsoft, Databricks & Anaplan ecosystem. This role is responsible for building a greenfield pipeline, owning the full sales cycle, and co-selling with hyperscaler teams across the EuropeKey Responsibility and Requirements:Hunts net new opportunities in the Data + AI Analytics category for a definedgeographyOwns a regional sales plan focusing on net new accounts and opportunities: Owns financial goals, win proposal submission, pipeline creation and sales process management for net new opportunities and prospectsCo-sells with the Databricks/Msft Partner Sales, Account Executivesand Solution Architects to deliver product and service solutionsdelivering business value is good to haveBuilds and owns senior-level relationships with Databricks/Msft, customer and stakeholders across the targeted accounts that are decision makers or influencers to data + AI Analytics buying decisions. Understands the needsof different personas across the enterprise that seek value-added service or product offeringsMinimum 5 years selling data + AI Analytics solutions (services). Candidates with business development, inside sales, or hunting account management track record are valuedExperience working in a start-up environment is valued, where rolling up your sleeves and getting it done is valued.Direct Databricks sales or business development experience ( as an SI, Hyperscaler or ISV ecosystem) is good to haveDemonstrable knowledge of Retail, CPG, MFG, Technology and HLS industries understanding how industry vertical challenges can be morphed into Polestar Analytics opportunities solving client business issues.Industry expertise in Retail or CPG will be prioritizedExperience working with an international business across time zones.Driving full sales cycle: expanding business with the existing client portfolio (selling new / renewing existing contracts), proactively identifying sales opportunities based on client strategic priorities and networking.Works continuously with Polestar Analytics sales leadership, industry heads, delivery COE team & other Growth leaders to ensure that leads and opportunities are converted, pertinent information about clients is shared, and the relevant people are consulted and/or informed of key activity on an account.Responsible for developing case studies & client testimonials. Present at client events, external industry eventsComfortable negotiating with senior clientsand knows what levers to use. Clearly links the value of company offeringand solutions with the price to overcomeobjections.Takes overall accountability for business planning and implementation.Personal Attributes:You’ve an expert in networking with clients and C-Suite client engagement. Sales generation and post- consultation are your forte. And you have the communication chops to translate it all into conversation or presentations. While you’ve worked with global cross-functional teams, you can also put your head down and focus on independent projects. Seeingthe big picture takes attention to detail. Keeping up with the fast - changing world of data + AI takes someonewho recognizes that. You have gained a knack for negotiation and earned the client’s trust.
