As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our UK team by recruiting an experienced civil/structural consulting engineer to be based from our office location in central Belfast.If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.We are looking for:a good degree in either Civil or Structural Engineeringbe located in or close to Belfast, or willing to relocate upon appointmenthave achieved, or be actively working towards Chartered Engineer statusrecent technical knowledge gained on heavy industrial civils projectsexperience of conducting quality inspections of materials and methods such as pre-formed and cast concrete structures and steelworka good understanding of foundation piling, environmental issues, European building codes and geotechnical studiesthe ability to produce and explain high quality technical reports and feasibility studies for clientscomfortable in interpreting engineering drawings, design specifications and functional descriptionsfully conversant with Microsoft Officeknowledge of applicable safety, health and welfare regulations and risk assessments, able to identify quality issues and design risksFull right to work in the UK (and ROI) without any visa requirements.a full driving licence and vehicle for travel to site meetings.What you can expect from us:competitive salary package, with leading bonus scheme of up to 20% of salary.vocational qualification support and professional fees paid.EV salary sacrifice scheme.medical & life assurance.5% pension contribution.shares purchase option.company social events. xwwtmva scheme celebrating years spent as part of the Fichtner team
