OverviewBefore applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.We are looking for talented Project Managers, ideally with consultancy experience, to join us at Expleo. This client-facing role will lead projects collaborating with our clients across a wide range of IT deliveries.The successful candidate will be able to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders, as well as internal and external teams. The programme follows a Waterfall process, working with partners who may use Agile methodologies, so solid experience with both methodologies is desirable.You will be working on a high-profile project with other Project Managers, where your Project and theirs are inter dependent from a timeline and delivery perspective, and so open communication lines and an eye for detail is critical for success.Expleo works across multiple clients and industries, so there is an expectation that you will contribute to the continued growth of the Practice as time allows.ResponsibilitiesPlanning: Build and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectivesRAID Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and DependenciesFinance Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.Reporting: Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.Quality Management: Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards.QualificationsDesirable Certifications: MAPM, Scrum Master, PMP, Prince2Essential SkillsStrong understanding of the systems development lifecycle.The ability to understand and lead the construction of system & data integrationsExcellent client-facing skillsAbility to think logically and use own initiative as well as mine in-house and supplier IP to build on your knowledge base with regards to the industry and the project/programme.Able to apply project management disciplines such as stakeholder identification and management, supplier management, risk and issue logs, decision logsStrong understanding of Waterfall methodologies Strong understanding of Agile (Kanban & Scrum)Experience of working with Programme and Project managers in large deploymentsPeople management skills - the ability to lead and focus teams in complex projectsStrong self-management - continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-setDesire to continue to build IT domain knowledge- tools, applications, platforms Desire to embrace and work within new industries An analytical mindset to ensure details are not overlooked and that the critical path is managed throughout the projectStrong communication skills in English are essential for effectively interacting with clientsMicrosoft Project ExperienceExperience of leading medium and large-scale projects with multiple sub-projects and inter-dependencies.Experience in data migration from legacy systems to new, including culling of non-essential data and consideration of parallel runs (test environment/production) and multi-wave implementation to productionSupplier Management - managing external suppliers to ensure that the scope of work is delivered within time, cost and quality constraints.
