Join us at Newstaff Employment Services and help make a difference in your community Responsibilities Safely operate HGV 2 vehicles on designated refuse collection routes. Collect and transport refuse and recycling materials from residential and commercial properties. Work closely with loaders to ensure efficient and safe waste collection. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies. Maintain accurate records of daily collections and vehicle mileage. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents during collections. Requirements Valid HGV 2 (Class 2) driving license. Previous experience as an HGV 2 driver, preferably in refuse collection. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to driving and waste management. Excellent driving skills with a proven record of safe driving. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks as needed. Flexibility to work early mornings and varied shifts. Benefits £17.50 Per hour
