We are looking to offer a **HGV Delivery Driver** the opportunity to join our expanding team based in **Stevenage.**

**About the team**

We currently provide a comprehensive fleet of over 9000 trucks, vans and cars, together with over 20,000 items of general plant and specialist utilities equipment from our Regional Supply Centre.

**About the role**

As a Delivery Driver you will be based in Stevenage, you will be an experienced and flexible driver that can drive a 26t vehicle Beavertail, delivering and collecting plant and equipment across the UK.

**As the HGV Delivery Driver, you’ll get the opportunity to**:

- Complete and record all daily vehicle checks, ensuring roadworthy at all times.
- Receive delivery and collection paperwork, ensure all items are available to be loaded and fleet numbers are correct.
- Responsible for safe and secure loading and unloading practices, this will involve driving plant on to a beavertail ramp.
- Plan delivery routes in accordance with priority, ensure all plant and equipment is delivered safely and within the agreed time frames.
- Obtain signatures from site personnel and record any obvious defects and missing equipment.
- Fully comply with the company’s undertakings towards the Operator Licence, Driving Hours and Working Time Directive’s
- Complete DCPC, in-House & FORS Training in line with Company policy

**What you’ll bring?**
- Full clean driving licence up to and including C1 is essential, C or C+E would be advantageous.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Driver CPC Training.
- Relevant experience within a similar role.
- Good knowledge of General plant and equipment.
- Safe Load and Securing Training (NPORS or equivalent)
