Your newpany My client is a family-owned modular building business based in Coventry. Established in 2003, thepany has successfully delivered 100s of modular, eco-friendly buildings across the public and private sectors, with the majority being in the education sector.Your new role As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in leading architectural design and delivery across a range of modular building projects. Based at the Coventry head office, you will supervise and mentor the architectural team, manage projects from concept topletion, and contribute to the development of sustainable, high-quality design solutions.Key responsibilities include:Leading and mentoring the architectural teamManaging the design process in line with the RIBA Plan of WorkPreparingpliant designs aligned with UK Construction Law and British StandardsAdvising on material specification with sustainability and durability in mindAuthoring specifications and sourcing technical informationSupporting statutory submissions including Planning and Building RegulationsCoordinating pre-construction information and design risk managementAssisting with budget design and value engineeringParticipating in project reviews and cross-team coordinationEnsuring document controlpliance and quality assuranceWhat you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need:ARB registration or CIAT chartership with 10+ years post-chartered UK experienceStrong cross-sector experience, ideally in education (DFE framework), withmercial or leisure projects as a plusProficiency in BIM Level 2 workflows and environmentsProven leadership in managing multipleplex projectsExcellentmunication, presentation, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with design software including Lumion, Photoshop, InDesign, Bluebeam, and Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of NBS/Uniclass Specification softwareKnowledge of Passivhaus principles and timber frame construction (advantageous)What you'll get in return In addition to apetitive salary of £55,000 – £65,000, you’ll receive:25 days holiday plus public holidaysHybrid/Flexible working arrangementsRegular office trips/socialsA clear pathway to DirectorSupport for career progression and educationPaid professional membershipsCharitable fundraising through TG Challenge and CSR initiativesCycle2Work schemeA collaborative and innovative work culturemitted to sustainability
