Job description Graduate Psychology Secondary Teaching Assistant Location: West Yorkshire Start Date: ASAP startFull-Time | Long-Term RoleAspire People is currently seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant and welcoming secondary school to support across the full academic year. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with proven experience, or aspiring teachers who wish to work in a secondary school before pursuing their teacher training. The Role:*Support across KS3-4 working alongside class teachers to deliver high-quality learning*Work across a range of subjects, mainly working in your subject specialism or with young people with additional needs*Deliver targeted intervention sessions outside of the classroom, helping to raise attainment*Full-time position, with the potential to become a long-term post for the right candidate*A trial day will be offered for shortlisted applicantsYou will need:* A degree in core subject, psychology or education related subject * Recent, relevant experience working with young people is beneficial * Confidence delivering intervention work to small groups* A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for educationInterested?Send your CV and profile to us as soon as possible to be considered.If selected, you'll be invited for a trial day to demonstrate your skills and suitability for this rewarding opportunity.
