Local Authority Housing Solutions Review Manager, South LondonPay rate to £40.45 per hourContract role, Local Government HousingWe are recruiting for an experienced Housing Solutions Review Manager in South LondonThis is a contract role, and you will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority setting. Job Purpose To provides an effective, professional Review and Appeal service on behalf of the Housing Solutions service. Responsibilities Include • Ensure the effective and efficient management of the Council’s Housing Solutions Reviews Service, taking into account current legislation and Council policy. • To contribute to the overall management of the Homelessness and Housing Solutions Service and report to the Housing Solutions Resources & Review Manager. • To ensure that the Homelessness Review Team provides an effective, professional Review and Appeal service on behalf of the Homelessness and Housing Solutions service. • To conduct reviews on cases where the original decision has been completed by one of the Housing Solutions Manager as an officer senior in rank or in cases of particular complexity, legal or political scrutiny.• To work in partnership with Lambeth Council’s Legal Services, provide instructions and attend the Supreme Court, High Court, Appeal Court and County Court with Legal Services. • To produce briefing reports for Legal Services to offer guidance and assistance with Court cases affecting the Housing Solutions Service.
