As a small-sized company, they are committed to providing tailored and efficient services to a diverse client base.Job DescriptionManagement of own client portfolio, being the main point of contact for the businessPreparation of Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax ReturnsPreparation of Management AccountsPersonal Tax Return PreparationProviding commercial business support to clientsExperience in dealing with Company Secretarial mattersSupervising junior members of the team and reviewing their workWorking together with a Team of ManagersTax advantaged share schemes e.g. EMI share optionsVenture capital schemes e.g. EIS/SEISR&D and Creative Industries tax relief claims (including video games tax reliefs)Involvement with business development activitiesThe Successful ApplicantA successful Business Services Manager should have:Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (AAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).Proven experience in managing accounting and finance operations within the professional services industry.Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.What's on OfferCompetitive salary range of £45,000 to £55,000 per annum.Permanent position based in the vibrant city of Brighton.Opportunities for professional growth and development in accounting and finance.Supportive work environment within the professional services industry.Potential for career progression in a leadership role.
