We are offering a unique and exciting opportunity for a dynamic, highly motivated, and fully qualified Teacher of the Deaf . The successful candidate will work across two mainstream schools with Enhanced Resource Facilities for Deaf and Hearing Impaired Children, within Embark Federation. The two schools are based on one shared site, in Langley Mill. This is a permanent full time position from September 2025, with three days based at Aldercar High School (, and two days based at Aldercar Infant School (; We would consider a job share for the right candidates ( / ; The ability to develop deaf children’s speech, language, listening and communications skills are essential. The successful candidate will also be able to use audiological equipment effectively and have excellent communication skills, including BSL level 2 or equivalent. Salary for this position is on the Teachers Main Pay Scale (starting point is subject to relevant experience) plus TLR point.
