Are you ready to join a team in revolutionising financial data automation? Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Application Support Shift Lead to join their innovative team.

The Company: Our client is at the forefront of transforming financial data management for a wide range of clients, from dynamic FinTech startups to global banking institutions. Their platform simplifies complex data processes, automates critical business operations, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

The Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Application Support Engineer looking to take the step up into a managerial position. This role will allow not only the successful candidate to remain hands on technically, but will include the mentoring and management of your own team.

The day to day:

Oversee and coordinate initial incident assessment and response. Handle incidents directly when needed. Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements. Track and report SLA metrics. Address escalated issues from customers and internal stakeholders. Track team metrics and provide coaching to improve productivity. Identify and implement enhancements to internal processes and policies. Conduct maintenance tasks and small projects during low activity periods.

Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

Line Management Experience: Proven team management skills. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication. Demonstrated experience of handling of service tickets. ITIL Knowledge - Familiarity with ITIL best practices. Azure Active Directory/Entra ID - Proficient administration skills. Strong understanding of AD services. Windows Server 201x:

Nice to have:

Knowledge of MS-SQL, especially Azure SQL Database. Proficiency in PowerShell/Bash scripting.
