The company maintains a professional working environment and values expertise in Procurement & Supply Chain.Job DescriptionCategory Manager - Marketing - (Multiple Business)- End to end Procurement ManagementDevelop and deliver category strategies for your assigned portfolio.Work with stakeholders up to Executive level, leveraging external insights and spend analysis to balance value and service.Champion procurement-led change across multiple businessesLead and project manage workstreams to ensure timely delivery within governance frameworks.Collaborate with Finance, Legal, InfoSec, and Data Protection teams.Provide expert procurement guidance to stakeholders.Negotiate, select, and contract with suppliers to meet business objectives.Track and report on savings, ROI, and procurement KPIs.Manage key supplier relationships and develop strategic partnerships.Ensure outcomes are mutually beneficial and aligned with business priorities.Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies within the organisation's risk appetite.The Successful ApplicantA successful Category Manager- Marketing should have:Proven expertise in Procurement Category Manager - Ideally in Marketing, or have touched upon this areaStrong analytical skills and experience in market analysis.Excellent negotiation and contract management capabilities.Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.Knowledge of procurement policies and industry standardsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging £60,000- £65,000 per annum.Permanent role based in Nottingham with opportunities for professional growth and to be developedComprehensive benefits package to support your career and wellbeing.Chance to contribute to a respected organisation within the Retail industry.Please note this is a site- based role with some flexibility therefore you must live within 30miles commutable distance to Nottingham.If you are ready to take the next step in your career as a Category Manager - we encourage you to apply today.
