Logistics CoordinatorAbout the RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a growing team based in Stoke on Trent. Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning deliveries, organising transport, and managing a range of transport administration tasks.We are looking for someone with a positive “can do” attitude, strong organisational skills, and the flexibility to adapt to a wide range of duties in a dynamic business environment.Key Responsibilities of this Logistics Coordinator role:Maintain accurate records and documentationEnsure compliance with health and safety standardsProduce proof of delivery for customersManage import and export documentationInvestigate operational queries and provide resolutionsTake telephone calls from customers and suppliersManage supplier invoices, checking and amending POs as requiredDespatch orders using SageOrganise transport with couriers, hauliers, and third-party providersProvide operational support to other departments as neededConduct supplier reviews and manage logistics non-conformanceRaise claims with hauliers when necessaryLiaise with sites to confirm delivery requirementsSkills and Experience Required for this Logistics Coordinator role:Strong attention to detail and excellent administration skillsEnthusiastic, committed, and reliableAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent customer focus, both internal and externalAbility to handle customer queries and complaints diplomaticallyConfidence to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, in person and by telephoneProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with stock control systems desirableExperience with import/export procedures is a plusDetails of this Logistics Coordinator role:Performance-related bonusTraining and development opportunities26 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, including a Christmas shutdownOptional Employee Healthcare planLife Assurance (1 x salary)Access to Mental Health First AidersAnnual pay reviewReward and recognition schemesSalary: £25,890Location: Stoke-on-TrentHours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 17:00
