Senior Logistics Coordinator An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to join a growing business based in Stoke-on-Trent. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day logistics operation, ensuring safe, compliant, cost-effective and customer-focused delivery performance while supporting continuous improvement and team development.Key Responsibilities of this Senior Logistics Coordinator role:Manage daily logistics and transport operations to ensure on-time, compliant deliveriesPlan and coordinate transport, routing and carrier allocationOversee warehouse activities including picking, packing and loadingManage carrier performance, KPIs and supplier relationshipsResolve delivery issues and maintain logistics documentationSupport customer order fulfilment and service levelsChampion health & safety and fleet complianceLead, coach and develop the logistics teamMonitor performance metrics such as OTIF, costs and damagesSupport systems and process improvements, including import/export where applicableSkills required for this Senior Logistics Coordinator role:Proven experience in a logistics or transport leadership roleKnowledge of HGV operations, delivery planning and carrier managementStrong communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsCustomer-focused with excellent attention to detailConfident using Microsoft Office and stock control systemsDetails of this Senior Logistics Coordinator role:Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pmSalary: £32,000 per anumPerformance-related bonusTraining and development opportunities26 days holiday plus bank holidays (including Christmas shutdown)Employee healthcare plan (opt-in)Life assurance (1 x salary)Annual pay review and reward schemes
