Work Location: North Devon Outreach Centre, in office onlyNorth Devon Against Domestic Abuse (NDADA) is seeking a dedicated Gateway Team Lead to oversee our Single-Entry Gateway and Navigation Support service. This role ensures victims of domestic abuse across Devon can access timely, safe and effective support.About the RoleYou will manage the Gateway team, ensuring a high-quality frontline response to those experiencing domestic abuse. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will also hold a caseload and complete assessments, safety plans and referrals to wider DDAA services and external agencies.This role requires strong partnership working, confident safeguarding practice and the ability to support and develop staff in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the Gateway team, managing workload, wellbeing, rotas and performance.Ensure timely access to support for victims and effective multi-agency collaboration.Carry out assessments of risk and need, develop “My Story” documents and support plans.Provide guidance to professionals and advocate for clients to reduce barriers to safety.Respond to safeguarding concerns for adults and children.Maintain accurate case records, monitoring and reporting.Participate in service development and work closely with the Operations Manager.Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota (approximately 1 week every 6–12 weeks).About YouWe welcome applicants who may not meet every requirement but can demonstrate:Knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact.Experience in support work, safeguarding or multi-agency working.Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.A compassionate, trauma-informed approach.Why Join Us?You’ll play a vital role in ensuring victims of domestic abuse receive the support they need while contributing to a collaborative, values-driven charity.
