Smart Metering Technical Project ManagerBased anywhere in England with nationwide travel£45,000 - £55,000 + Training + Career Progression + Excellent Company BenefitsFull time permanent positionAre you an experienced Smart Metering or IoT Technical Project Manager looking to take ownership of complex, high-impact projects within the rapidly growing PropTech sector?This role offers the opportunity to lead the end-to-end delivery of smart energy metering, data capture, and sensor-based solutions that are transforming how buildings operate and consume energy.You'll join a specialist organisation operating at the intersection of smart buildings, cloud technology, and sustainability, delivering projects across commercial and industrial environments throughout the UK and beyond.With strong backing from a wider technology group and a clear growth strategy, the business is investing heavily in innovation, people, and technical excellence.This is an ideal role for a technically strong project manager who enjoys variety, responsibility, and seeing projects through from concept to completion.The Role: - Lead the survey, design, installation, and commissioning of smart metering and IoT-based energy solutions - Configure and integrate devices and networks to enable secure, reliable cloud-based data capture - Act as a technical point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersThe Person: - Experience in smart metering, building technologies, IoT integration, or a related field - Working knowledge of protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LoRaWAN, and NB-IoT - Willingness to travel across the UK, with occasional international travel and overnight stays
