As the Content Lead, you will lead the development and execution of our content marketing strategy to drive demand generation and engagement. You'll create compelling, data-driven content that educates, inspires, and converts our target audience. This role requires a mix of strategic vision, creative storytelling, and analytical rigor to measure content impact.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with business goals, customer journey stages, and demand generation initiatives.
Thought Leadership: Establish Ecovadis as a leading voice in ESG for enterprise clients – creating original content such as whitepapers, research reports, and blogs.
SEO & Organic Growth: Lead SEO-focused content initiatives, optimizing for search engine rankings and increasing organic traffic.
Content & Sales Enablement: Work cross-functionally to distribute content via email marketing, the website, paid campaigns, and sales enablement.
Content Performance & Analytics: Define and track key content performance metrics, using data insights to refine and improve strategy.
Agency & Freelancer Management: Manage external content writers, designers, and video producers as needed to scale content production.
- Experience: 5+ years in content marketing, with a focus on B2B SaaS.
- Leadership: Experience managing a content team of either freelancers or in-house hires, including writers, editors, and designers.
- Content Mastery: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a deep understanding of how content generates demand and closes leads.
- SEO & Analytics: Proficiency in SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and content performance tracking tools.
- ROI Focus: Understanding of how content marketing fuels demand generation, pipeline growth, and lead conversion.
- Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, and demand generation.
- Tech Stack Knowledge: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo), and analytics platforms.
