The Role

They are looking for a VR Content Lead to drive the creative direction behind the VR training experiences. As well as producing exceptional scripts yourself, you'll also play a key role in automating content creation by harnessing the power of AI to ensure scalability, efficiency, and quality across all projects. This is a highly dynamic role that combines content, creative leadership, and technical innovation.

You'll oversee everything from narrative design and scriptwriting to the final stages of content deployment and how that fits with the overall business goals. Your expertise will help build a powerful and scalable content library that serves a wide range of industries while ensuring high engagement and learning outcomes.

What You'll Do

Content creation & immersive VR narrative design - You'll lead everything from client requirements gathering to the final stages of content deployment. That includes scripting engaging and interactive VR scenarios to blend storytelling with educational principles in VR. Collaborate with industry experts to tailor the content to real-world business needs.

Research and Validation - Stay at the cutting edge of immersive storytelling methods and instructional design principles, designing scripts that drive true behavioural change. You'll also be analysing the efficiency and success of training scenarios, looking to constantly improve the outcome for clients.

Lead automation initiatives – Develop and implement a content creation automation system, leveraging AI and other tools to speed up production timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Oversee content production – Manage the production process, from directing actors and VR shoots to overseeing video editing and integration of AI tools like Synthesia (AI actors and voiceovers).

Lead a creative team – Manage and mentor a small team of writers, editors, and content specialists, guiding them on best practices and creative strategies to produce high-quality output.

Streamline processes – Develop reusable scripts, templates, and storyboards to ensure consistent and efficient content production.

R&D - In this role, you'll have the flexibility to push boundaries and experiment with new technologies and methods, ensuring that you're always at the forefront of VR content creation.

Cross-functional collaboration - work closely with teams across the business including engineering, UX design, product etc. to allign content strategy with business goals.

What We're Looking For

Strong experience in content creation, scriptwriting, ideally within VR training or immersive learning environments.

Strong storytelling skills – Ability to craft compelling and engaging narratives that resonate with various audiences.

Experience with content creation tools – Familiarity with AI-driven tools, VR development platforms, and multimedia production processes.

Knowledge of software product development – Understanding the processes and methodologies used in developing software products, especially in an Agile environment.

Instructional design expertise – A background in instructional design or developing training products will be highly advantageous.
